Founded in New Zealand, Kerrick has developed a branch network through out both countries in the Industrial and Commercial Cleaning Equipment field. Branches are located in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. Branches in Australia are located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.
The company identifies itself in the Industrial and Commercial Markets, and has an extensive service and Distribution network in both Australia and New Zealand.
The late Mr. EJ Schofield founded the company. He perceived the need in the market for steam cleaning products. In 1936 the first Kerrick Steam Cleaner was imported from Clayton Industries of USA, fully built-up. These units where designed for the automotive industry.
In 1972 the late Mr JC Schofield commenced development of the company’s first, own designed, industrial hot water pressure cleaner, and began producing at its factory in Auckland. These units were produced for sale in New Zealand and Australia. After eight years of selling in the Australian market through agents Kerrick started to develop its branch network with the opening of the Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane branches in 1980.
Vacuums
The company has extensive expertise in Commercial and Industrial Vacuums including the HDV heavy-duty range of vacuum systems. Ducted systems are built to the client’s specific requirements.
Pressure Cleaners
From the steam cleaner market the company has developed an extensive range of hot and cold pressure cleaners and water blasters. Complementing these are wall mounted electric, diesel and gas fired units, truck and carwash units, in place cleaning units, skid and trailer purpose built units. For hobby and home handyman market there is an extensive range of product.
Pumps
Kerrick has access to one of the most versatile and extensive range of high pressure pumps. Kerrick has represented the original high pressure pump manufacturer, Cat Pumps Inc of Minneapolis since 1972. The range has now expanded to include a number of Italian manufacturers, including Interpump. In the Ultrahigh area, Kerrick represents Gardner Denver with pressures up to 50,000psi.
Lifts
Mechanical lifts provide the latest group of products added to the Kerrick range in Australia. These are particularly suited to the construction and the building services market.

In the main branches the company has full facilities, and the ability to fabricate specialised vacuum, pumping and high pressure systems. Having a strong technical background ensures that the company can adequately support its markets. It also gives it the competitive edge.
