NSW Resources Regulator appoints new chief inspector

Dave McLean has been appointed as the new chief inspector for the NSW Resources Regulator.

The chief inspector provides high-level technical advice to the Regulator to help improve the health and safety of those in the state’s mining and petroleum industries; investigating incidents, consulting with industry and key stakeholders, indentifying risks, assessing sites, and if necessary, taking enforcement action.

McLean hold more than 30 years of experience it the mining industry, and been employed by the Resources Regulator since October 2015.
