Working with a customer, Minova modified its QBC Blind developed for hard rock mining, to be fit for purpose in a coal environment.
The QBC Blind is installed ahead of the longwall, constructed off the critical path, allowing vehicles to still access the area.
It can be closed remotely to control airflow and away from any potential gas generated during mining.
