The Buddie System, an Australian-owned safety technology company, is finalising its national industry tour ahead of a month-long expansion into the United States and Canada – capping a breakthrough year for the world-first wireless instant-alert device engineered to eliminate communication failure between crane operators and ground crews.
The Australian tour has so far taken TBS to Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Newcastle, with upcoming presentations scheduled in Karratha, Port Hedland, Newman and Perth. The roadshow has been targeted at major contractors, crane operators, and mining operations evaluating TBS as a standard component of their site safety procedures.
The expansion follows TBS being named a Finalist for Workplace Safety Solution of the Year at the WorkSafe Awards – independent industry recognition of the system’s role in addressing one of construction’s most preventable risks.
