With last month’s Workplace Health & Safety Show in Melbourne wrapping up on a record-breaking high, ticket sales have also skyrocketed for the upcoming Sydney and Brisbane events.
Boasting a 13 percent increase in attendance from the previous year, the recent show held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre on May 21 and 22 generated more than 16,000 new sales leads for exhibitors.
“The show has once again proven its worth to the safety community and has solidified its status as Australia’s premier platform for health and safety professionals to connect, collaborate and innovate,” the show’s portfolio manager Stephen Blackie said.
Some of the highlights from the Melbourne show included groundbreaking product demos and launches, announcement of the 2025 Champions of Safety Awards winners, and a series of opportunities for industry leaders to connect face-to-face with event goers.
Attendees also enhanced their understanding of organisational well-being through panels, expert-led workshops, meet-ups and discussion sessions that created space for professionals to have honest conversations about the future of workplace safety.
Following the conclusion of the Melbourne chapter, Blackie anticipates that the successive events will also be very well-received.
“On the back of the highly successful Melbourne event, we’re seeing a surge in demand for our upcoming Sydney show in October, which is already 80 percent sold out,” he said.
“Momentum is also accelerating for the launch of our new Brisbane show which will take place from March 25 and 26, 2026 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, with nearly 50 stands already booked in the first week.
“Workplace Health & Safety Show is a valuable partner to Australia’s safety professionals to gather the knowledge, tools, resources and connections they need to achieve world-class safety … we can’t wait to take the show to Sydney and then to Brisbane.”
